Joaquin Cottani
Joaquín Cottani is a managing partner of the independent Buenos Aires advisory group MacroVision. He served as undersecretary of economic policy and undersecretary of finance, and was a financial representative to the United States and Canada. He was the World Bank deputy director of the Mexico and Colombia departments, and chief economist of Latin America for Lehman Brothers from 1997 to 2002.
Dr. Cottani has lectured at Yale, New York University and Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, and is an occasional columnist for Argentine newspapers.
He received his undergraduate degree in economy from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina, and an M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in economics from Yale University.

Esteban Fernandez Medrano
Esteban Fernández Medrano is a partner in MacroVision. He was a senior advisor in the chief cabinet of economic advisors in Argentina’s Ministry of Economy, and a senior economist at Estudio Broda & Asociados.
From 1998-2000, Mr. Medrano covered Argentina and Chile for IDEA Global, from New York, and provided economic coverage for Ecuador, Peru and Brazil. He also was an assistant lecturer at the University of Buenos Aires.
Mr. Medrano graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a BSc. in economics, specializing in international economics, and studied at the Kiel Institute of World Economics in Germany on full scholarship.
