Affonso Pastore
Affonso Celso Pastore is the president and founder of A.C. Pastore & Associados, an independent economic consulting firm in São Paulo.
Dr. Pastore was president of the Central Bank of Brazil from 1983-1985. He previously served as secretary of finance for the State of São Paulo, and prior to that as director of research for the Instituto de Pesquisas Econômicas, a foundation associated with the Department of Economics at the University of São Paulo. He was also director of research at the “Fundação Centro de Estudos do Comércio Exterior” (FUNCEX).
Dr. Pastore received both his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in economics from the Universidade de São Paulo, where he held the positions of professor and dean of the Department of Economics from 1978 to 1999. He continues to teach graduate courses at the Fundação Getulio Vargas/RJ, on open economy macroeconomics, money and banking and econometrics.

Murillo de Aragão
Murillo de Aragão is the founder of the Brasilia-based public policy consulting firm Arko Advice. He was a fellow at the Social Science Research Council in New York, and since 1988 has served on the board of the London-based International Federation of the Periodical Press. He also was executive vice president of the Brazilian Magazine Association, and serves on the advisory boards of Instituto Ayrton Senna, Comgás and Embratel Participações.
Dr. Aragao is the author of "Grupos de Pressão no Congresso Nacional;” was publisher/organizer of the "Perfil Parlamentar Brasileiro;" and is a columnist for the monthly Revista Imprensa. He co-authored the book “Engaging Countries.” Dr. Aragão has taught political science at the Universidade de Brasília and at the Buenos Aires-based Universidad Austral. Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs awarded him the Ordem do Rio Branco (Comendador) in 1998.
Dr. Aragão holds a B.A from the Faculdade de Direito do Distrito Federal, and a master’s in political science and a Ph.D. in sociology from the Universidade de Brasília.

Cristiano Noronha
Cristiano Noronha is a partner of Arko Advice, company in which he has been in since 1993. In recent years, he gave several lectures on the Brazilian Political Scenario. He holds a Business Administration degree from University of Brasilia, post-graduate studies in Public Administration (UnB) and Master of Political Science (UnB). Currently, he is the Research and Analyses Vice-President. He was professor at União Pioneira de Integração Social (UPIS-DF) university and at UnB.
