An Atlas poll released yesterday, February 25, showed the consolidation of a polarized scenario between President Lula (PT) and Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) in the presidential race. In first-round simulations, Lula appears, depending on the scenario, with between 43% and 47% of intended votes. Flávio, in turn, registers between 33% and 40%. The administration is now focusing on the constitutional amendment proposal (PEC) addressing the end of the six-days-on, one-day-off (6x1) work schedule and the public security PEC. The Senate yesterday approved new guidelines for the chemicals and petrochemicals sector to be implemented during the transition from REIQ (Special Regime for the Chemical Industry) to PRESIQ (Special Program for the Sustainability of the Chemical Industry).
