André Mendonça’s inauguration should take place in the next few days — before the recess of the Judiciary, which begins on December 18. The score was close, 47 votes in favor and 32 against. The Court will now be complete with 11 ministers. The session in the Senate to vote on the Precatórios PEC is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. The likelihood is for it to pass. The senators are pressing for Rodrigo Pacheco not to enact the PEC until the House reviews the changes made by the Senate. In the STF, the scoreboard on the sanitation framework case is currently three votes to zero in favor of the constitutionality of the law. The voting process will resume with Minister Edson Fachin’s vote.
