Andriy Bohdan might resign, media reports

Andriy Bohdan, Head of President Office has claimed an intention to resign from his post according to local media. A copy of a document with the claim circulates in social nets. It’s not clear how reliable this information is. But recent developments show that relations between president Zelenskiy and his chief of staff might have complicated recently. What sparked this tension we can only guess. But faithful companion of President Zelenskiy on all public events – suddenly disappeared from his narrow circle. One possible reason for this move is an unfolding open conflict of Bohdan with mayor of Kyiv city Vitaliy Klitschko. Klitschko claimed that Bohdan was trying to impose some supervisor on him. Klitschko even traveled to the US and met Giuliani, probably, to find support in his fight with new authorities. Despite the conflict with Klitschko looks as the most probable reason for resignation of Bohdan, optimists believe this, in fact, might be a promotion of Bohdan for Premier post. Hard to believe in such scenario but we also can not reject such a possibility. Names that have been outlined as the most probable candidates for the post of Prime minister are, in fact, weak and politically dependent persons (Deputy Head of President Office Oleksiy Honcharuk and Ukraine’s representative to the IMF Vlad Rashkovan). Appointment of such candidates would indicate that someone from President Office will make decisions instead of them. If so, what is the reason to rule the Cabinet through someone?
