Arrest warrant for Yevgeny Prigozhin

On June 24 Yevgeny Prigozhin the warrant was for allegedly inciting an armed rebellion. Military vehicles have been put onto the streets of Moscow and other cities. The guard has been doubled at strategic locations. A 2 am on June 24 Prigozhin said that Wagner Group had returned from Ukraine to Russian and entered the Rostov Region. It seems he wanted to arrest the Defense Minister, who was there. There was speculation that Prigozhin wanted to seize power but he never criticizes Putin. On June 23 Prigozhin said he was going to stop ''evil'' Russian Army senior officers. He claimed they had ordered attacks on Wagner Group and killed many of its men. He also said the Ukraine War was unjustified. Prigozhin could be given 20 years in jail. Putin's spokesman said the president is keeping abreast of events. Wagner fighters are said to be heading for Voronezh. This is halfway between Rostov and Moscow. The army has called for Wagner troops to surrender. Putin said Prigozhin is committing treason. Since June 20 Prigozhin has been accusing the army of firing on his men.
