The president of the House, Arthur Lira, harshly criticized Petrobras on Twitter yesterday, saying that the Brazilian state-owned company has a social role in the country and has been acting as a friend to billionaires’ profits and an enemy of Brazil. Today, the strongest name to be Bolsonaro’s VP is former Chief of Staff and former Minister of Defense Braga Netto. His supporters have advised him to travel around the country to consolidate himself as a viable candidate. But members of the PL are beginning to support the former Minister of Agriculture, Tereza Cristina. The PoderData poll comes out on Wednesday and will be taken by phone with 3,000 voters. In the institute's most recent poll, carried out between June 5 and 6, Lula had 43% of intended votes, and Bolsonaro had 35%.
