Dec 11 Energy Ministry: Currently Kazakhstan does not see an alternative to CPC for oil supplies, but will develop additional routes in the future. Energy Ministry: Attacks on the CPC have led to losses in Kazakhstan's oil production of about 480K tons, but the plan for 2025 will be fulfilled. Development Bank of Kazakhstan: The bank has returned KZT23.5 bln ahead of schedule from the KZT50 bln it previously received from the National Fund to support strategically important projects.. President: Cargo transportation volume on Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railway route may double by 2030. Energy Ministry: The operational activities of participants in major oil projects are not in danger, the work is carried out within the framework of existing agreements. Dec 12 President: Kazakhstan's GDP will grow by over 6% in 2025. Dec 15 Energy Ministry: Kazakhstan plans to pump about 1.5 mln tons of oil through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline in 2025. Energy Ministry: Kazakhstan is looking for potential investors to build a fourth oil refinery with a capacity of 10 mln tons per year. Energy Ministry: Russia is considering the option of building the Power of Siberia 2 pipeline through Kazakhstan. CPC: The delivery of two new remote mooring devices are expected in January. Energy Ministry: Kazakhstan is waiting for the arbitration court’s decision in December on the government’s claim against the Karachaganak Consortium. Energy Ministry: Kazakhstan holds the first right to buy Russian LUKOIL’s assets in the country following the imposition of sanctions on the company.
