The mid-year recess of the Judiciary begins on Friday, July 3. In the Lower House, deputies will continue the vote on Provisional Measure no. 944, which concerns credit lines to finance companies’ payrolls. In the Senate, the highlight is the bill on fake news. There is pressure to include the bill on interest rates for overdraft and credit cards on the voting agenda. President Bolsonaro sanctions Bill no. 675/20, which suspends the inclusion of individuals in debtors’ registries such as Serasa and SPC. The government may also send Congress a proposal on emergency aid. The Superior Electoral Court resumes trial on the Bolsonaro-Mourão ticket (June 30).
