On February 24 China urged Ukraine and Russia to negotiate an end to the war. NATO countries dismissed this and said that China is too sympathetic to Russia. China published a 12-point plan. The Chinese statement also said that it is totally against the use of nuclear arms. China denies American claims that it is preparing to sell arms to Russia. The US National Security advisor said that the war would end now if Russia withdrew. He demanded that Russia respect Ukraine's sovereignty. He claimed that Russia has already lost.  Ukraine asked China to use its influence with Russia to end the war. The EU said that China needs to do more to promote peace. The 7 are Russia, Belarus, Eritrea, Syria, Mali, Nicaragua and North Korea.
