In this report, we review some of the most frequently asked questions about the Covid-19 CPI in the Federal Senate.

Following STF Minister Luis Roberto Barroso’s decision (which should be ratified by the plenary of the Supreme Court), what are the next steps for the installation of the CPI?

1) The President of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco, must read the CPI request in the Senate plenary.

2) After the reading, it will be published in the Official Journal of the Senate.

3) Then, party leaders must submit their nominations for the installation of the CPI.
