The second installment of the emergency aid benefit in the amount of R$ 600 began to be paid today by the Jair Bolsonaro government to informal workers. The first recipients will be the beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família program. Workers who are in the Cadastro Único and do not receive Bolsa Família, as well as those who registered for Emergency Aid through the website or app, will start receiving the installment on Wednesday.

The second installment of the emergency aid will help President Jair Bolsonaro strengthen his popularity with informal workers and those who are unemployed. According to a DataPoder360 poll released last weekend, 34% of those who received or are waiting to receive the aid rate the government positively (excellent/good). This index is four percentage points above the national average (30%).

In addition to resources for the most economically vulnerable sectors, President Jair Bolsonaro also made progress in the alliance with the centrist parties. The emergency aid, combined with the political appointments, is helping Bolsonaro to create armor to face the political and health crises that are affecting his government.
