EU sending Ukraine EUR 500 million

On May 29 the European Union signed off on sending a loan of EUR 500 million to Ukraine.The European Commission ( the EU's executive) approved the payout. It will be completed within 14 days. The EU is pleased with Ukrainian reform in banking, energy and healthcare. Since 2014 Ukraine has received EUR 3.8 billion of EU loans. In the summer of 2020 Ukraine is due to receive a loan of EUR 1.2 billion. This extra loan is due to help the country with the fallout from coronavirus.In December 2018 a loan of EUR 500 billion was lent.
