Exit polls augur a very fragmented new Congress

Preliminary results to complete (until July 2020) the term of dissolved Congress show the that no party will achieve a plurality. These results could favor President Vizcarra. We do not expect the new Congress to adopt significant reforms, let alone, attempt any amendment to the Constitution.While in a general election parties obtaining less than 5% of total votes lose their of registered parties allowed to participate in any election, this time the Electoral Body decreed that this rule does not apply for the current elections since it has been conducted to replace the dissolved Congress.Captura_de_Pantalla_2020-01-26_a_la_s__18.21.10.png (click to see results.
