Fachin revokes decision that authorized Operation Car Wash to share information

The Minister of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Edson Fachin, revoked President of the Court Minister Dias Toffoli’s decision to allow Operation Car Wash to share information with the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGR). Now, it is up to Toffoli to decide whether to take the case to the floor of the STF.

After Fachin’s decision, the possibility that Dias Toffoli could refer the case to the floor of the STF will tend to further the tension between the PGR and Operation Car Wash.
