Yesterday, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro met with U.S. President Donald Trump. According to Flávio, he told Trump that, if elected, Brazil would have an allied government, and that once elected, he would negotiate agreements that could benefit companies from both countries. Among other objectives, Flávio’s meeting with Trump sought to create a positive agenda for his campaign, especially following reports linking him to banker Daniel Vorcaro. Today, the Lower House Special Committee is expected to vote on Congressman Leo Prates’s (Republicanos-BA) report on ending the 6x1 work schedule. His report was presented on Monday. Today, the Senate Economic Affairs Committee may analyze a bill authorizing the use of resources from the Pre-Salt Social Fund to create a special credit line for rural producers affected by climate-related events (Bill No. 5,122/23).
