The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, was going to participate in the 10th Edition of the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue next week. However, he decided to cancel his trip because there will be a ministerial team meeting on Monday, March 18. Yesterday, the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos) had a meeting with Haddad to discuss the state's debt to the Federal Government. According to the governor, the minister will give a presentation on the state's debt next week to President Lula. In the Senate, a bill was approved that creates the legal framework for the electronic gambling industry in Brazil. PL 2,796/2021, which is now back in the House for further analysis, was authored by Federal Deputy Kim Kataguiri (União-SP).
