Kazakhstan disputes claim of COVID-19 surge

On July 9 China warned its citizens that coronavirus is rising alarmingly in several Kazakh cities. The Kazakh Government vehemently denied this. The cities are Atyrau, Aktobe and Shymkent. The government acknowledges hundreds of pneumonia cases in these cities. That is very strange for this time of year. Some of the symptoms of pneumonia and coronavirus are the same. Someone with the former is likely to die if he catches the latter.The Leader of the Nation in Kazakhstan - Nazarbayev - is said to have recovered from coronavirus.
