In Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi was re-elected with 62% of the vote. This was well ahead of the challenger who is an ally of Poroshenko. However, Sadovyi only won in the second round. In the first round no one secured over 50% of the vote.On November 24, on Lviv City Council the European Solidarity Party was the party that won most seats (26/64). That is Poroshenko's party.There were 11 smaller cities with mayoral elections. Incumbents were re-elected in 8. Servant of the People exceeded the pundit's expectations. It has 17% of the seats in the regional councils. European Solidarity has 16% and Opposition Platform for Life has 13%. Poroshenko's party has therefore recovered considerably. It is much too early to make predictions about future parliamentary and presidential elections. Zelensky is more popular than his party but Poroshenko is less popular than his.
