Moldovan municipal elections are mixed result for pro-Western government

On November 6 the results came in. The mayor of the capital was re-elected. His National Alternative Movement (MAN) is said to be pro-Moscow. The Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) is the ruling party. PAS wants the country to join the EU. PAS won 19 out of the 32 counties in the country. President Sandu is in the PAS. She accused Russia of funding opposition parties. Some pro-Moscow parties were forbidden to contest the election on the basis of illegal funding. Moldova said Russia is waging a hybrid war against it. 41% of people voted in the municipal elections.
