Moscow returns to restrictions as coronavirus spread rapidly

On June 14 Moscow began a non-working week. More accurately, that is to work from home. Emergency services are still operating normally. The new rules apply to places of entertainment and stores which are closed. Playgrounds are closed. Restaurants do takeaway only after 11 pm. This is not as strict as an actual lockdown.Note, that these measures apply to Moscow only. A few regions have introduced some restrictions. Most of the rest of the country has no restrictions. Moscow has the most coronavirus cases per capita. Russia was very proud to avoid a second lockdown. Now it appears that a second lockdown might have to be implemented as a the country struggles with the new variant. Despite being the first country to develop a vaccine, the rollout of the vaccine has been painfully slow. Not even 20% of Russian have been vaccinated compared to almost 1005 of Israelis.
