The President of the Lower House, Hugo Motta (Republicanos–PB), stated that the report from the special committee that debated income tax exemption for those earning up to R$ 5,000 will reach the floor with strong momentum for approval. The government is working to ensure that the compensatory measures included in the bill are not overturned. The Federal Senate yesterday approved the bill establishing the “Digital Statute for Children and Adolescents” (PL 2,628/22). The initiative aims to combat the premature adultization of minors.
