Yesterday, Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco met with the president of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Luiz Fux. Afterward, he gave an interview to the press, stating that the goal of the meeting was to “prevent an escalation of a crisis caused by a lack of dialogue”. In the House today, the main matter is the bill that deals with the national nursing salary floor. Arthur Lira confirmed his intention to submit a Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC) to deal with the matter. He argues that a bill cannot authorize a salary floor, and a PEC would be necessary. In the Senate, the provisional measure (MP) dealing with Auxílio Brasil will be put to a vote today. The expectation is for the text that was approved by the House, with a permanent value of R$ 400, to be maintained.
