Executive Summary A major threat to the credibility of the June elections consists of the degree to which the parties act as if they are utterly oblivious to the extent to which they are held in disrepute and proceed as if all were business as usual, preoccupied by infighting and the seemingly eternal revolving door of elected officials resigning the posts voters entrusted to them so that they can compete for another post that will assure them of employment for another three years.
