President Lula meets with ministers to discuss the minimum wage, Minister Haddad to have meetings during the World Economic Forum in Davos, and Minister Silveira meets with representatives of the energy sector to discuss attacks on transmission towers

After the meeting with ministers, President Lula will have a meeting with the president of the Single Center of the Workers (CUT). The agenda should focus on the minimum wage. During the electoral campaign, Lula promised to implement a policy of increasing the minimum wage according to the interest rate. At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Finance Minister Fernando Haddad will attend a series of meetings with other finance ministers from around the world, such as from Colombia, Saudi Arabia, and Germany, as well as meetings with the director general of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the president of global affairs at Meta. The Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira, meets with representatives of energy transmission companies, the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (Aneel) and the National Electric System Operator (ONS) to determine what measures can be taken to prevent further attacks on transmission towers.
