Pressure on the Federal Government increases, public servants mobilize in favor of salary raises, and congressional leaders discuss a solution to the fuel price issue

The demands on the government are numerous: increasing the number of families benefiting from Auxílio Brasil, correcting the income tax table, approving a new Refis, salary increases for the civil service, and the issue of fuel prices. When the National Congress resumes activity, these pressures will likely increase. The tension between the political field and the economic team is also likely to increase. The stoppage of public servants today will be a test for the union entities themselves. If the mobilization and protests gain significant support, the calls for a strike in February or March will increase. Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG) confirmed that the Senate should proceed in February with PL 1472/21, which proposes the creation of a price stabilization fund for fuels.
