Russia admits concerns of its allies over the Ukraine War

On September 15 at the Shanghai Cooperation Summit Plan said he had spoken to the Chinese about their "concerns" regarding the war. On September 16 the Prime Minister of India told Putin, ''Now is not the time for war.'' Modi asked Putin to end the war by diplomacy. India is Russia's second biggest export market for weapons. India has been purchasing increased quantities of Russian oil in 2022. Moscow appreciated New Delhi's abstaining in the UN vote about the Ukraine War.  Putin assured India that he is striving to end the war soon. India and China have grown closer to Russia. Both purchase more Russian energy than before.  Putin said he will try to finish the special military operation as soon as practicable. But on September 16 he said there was ''no hurry'' to end the conflict. The Kremlin insists that it is going according to plan and that recent retreats were planned regroupings. Putin even said that Russia has made some recent territorial gains. The aim remains to take the whole of the Donbas, the president said. Ukraine claims to have retaken 8,000 square kilometers since September 6. Russian teachers brought into Donbas by pro-Moscow administrations have been evacuated or in places arrested, in some recaptured territory.
