Russian missile strikes on Ukraine

On April 18 missiles hit several Ukrainian cities, especially Lviv. This type of attack allows Russia to inflict losses without taking any risk itself. Ukraine does not have missiles with the range to enable them to retaliate.Fighting continues in Mariupol. Russia claims to have taken virtually the whole city. Mariupol has surprised many by holding out for so long but its fall is only a matter of time.There has been a lull in fighting except in Mariupol. The Russians appear to be regrouping in preparation for a major offensive in Donbas. The Ukrainians are also using the respite as a chance to ready themselves and ship in more arms.
