Russian national projects to be postponed by up to 6 years

On July 13 President Putin announced that major state infrastructure projects will be delayed because of coronavirus and the economic situation. The delay will be by 6 years in the worst cases. The projects had already been behind schedule and overbudget before coronavirus.The projects commenced in 2018 and were due for completion in 2024. This was over optimistic in most cases. A more detailed plan is to be published by the end of October 2020. The announcement was leaked a few days ago. The lack of details is frustrating. This is bad news and the government does not want to go into more detail yet.
