Strong message from President Office: no revisions on Privat

We have the most awaited news of the recent months. President Office, finally, stated openly that “…there is no reason to return the state-owned PrivatBank to its former shareholders”. Here is the statement.It took incredibly long for Zelenskiy to formulate this wording. And the most symbolic thing that the message has been voiced by Andriy Bohdan. What was the final drop to make this decision on Kolomoyskiy - is a mystery. But now we understand that something pushed Zelenskiy to distant himself radically from ‘Kolomoyskiy stories’. In my opinion, this move is more than enough to give green light for new deal with the IMF. To give up on these words, it will have catastrophic reputational consequences. Now there is no way back, I believe.
