The past few weeks, emptied out by the holidays during the World Cup matches, school vacations, and the judicial and parliamentary recesses, have favored the persistence of a frozen electoral scenario, with Lula and Flavio Bolsonaro competing for the lead in opinion polls depending on the tone of the news. However, significant - and possibly welcome - movements are expected to start in August, when the countdown to the October 3 election effectively begins, with candidate registration, the start of electoral advertising, and other formal electoral procedures. The warm-up ends and the game begins.
