The 12th day of war: terror-Russia

There were no big changes at the front from March 3rd. The Russians’ offensive was stopped, no big city surrendered or even was encircled. The largest progress was reached in the South, with Russian forces overriding several towns; however, the occupants cannot control the territory and they stay in the towns mainly hiding from Ukrainian artillery amid residential areas. Remarkably, in those towns occupied in the South Ukrainians openly protest against Russians with national flags in hands, ignoring armed groups of Russians walking around. The Russians keep attempting to enter Kyiv but without noticeable progress so far. Most likely the remains of Russian forces are regrouping to make a decisive attack on Kyiv. In other directions of the front, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports relatively sluggish activities of the enemy. Despite Kremlin’s offensive being exhausted, Russians intensified bombing of residential areas of many cities and towns. Almost all cities of Ukraine suffer missile and air strikes every day. The heaviest bombing was in Kharkiv, Mariupol, Chernihiv, Sumy and other cities/towns close to the frontline. All the world media has already published heartbreaking pictures of destroyed apartment blocks in different cities and towns across the country. The target of heavy bombing is obvious – the Russians want to force the Ukrainian leadership to surrender under threat of a growing number of civilian deaths. However, the strategy does not reach its goal: 93% of Ukrainians support Volodymyr Zelenskiy, 88% believe in Ukraine’s victory and 80% are ready to defend Ukraine with arms in hands. Fr...
