Today, November 7, the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) of the Senate may vote on Senator Eduardo Braga's (MDB-AM) report on the Tax Reform Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC). Also today, the Joint Budget Committee may vote on the preliminary report of Deputy Danilo Forte (União Brasil-CE) on the bill that deals with the Budget Guidelines Law (LDO). Yesterday, the president of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), stated that Fernando Haddad should continue pursuing the zero-deficit target in public accounts next year. The president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), also spoke about the issue yesterday and argued that the zero-deficit target "must be continually pursued" by the federal government.
