Arthur Lira said that he will try to find a solution for the prices of fuel and cooking gas in the coming days. The Gas Social Program bill was authored by Deputy Carlos Zarattini (PT-SP) and provides that, every six months, the value of gas must be equal to at least half of the average national price of the 13 Kg cylinder of gas as established by the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). Petrobras also announced that it will allocate R$ 300 million for the creation of a social program to support low-income families for the purchase of essential products, with a focus on cooking gas. Yesterday, the Senate approved the bill on administrative improbity.
