The House wants to approve the part of the Precatórios PEC that came from the Senate and promulgate what has already been analyzed by the senators. Only what is modified in the House would return to the Senate for further analysis. Three names are in the running for the Senate’s appointee to the TCU: Katia Abreu, from the PP; Antonio Anastasia, from the PSD; and Fernando Bezerra, from the MDB. The discussion involving the TCU appointee resulted in the postponement of the confirmation hearings of two appointees to the Central Bank. The leaders of the Centrão are positioned to overturn the presidential veto on the electoral fund. In practice, overturning this veto would increase the party fund's resources from R$ 2 billion to R$ 5.7 billion.
