The President of the Lower House, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), announced that the House will vote today on a bill to overturn the presidential decree that raised the IOF (Financial Transactions Tax). If the bill does reach a floor vote today, it is likely to pass. The Supreme Federal Court (STF) will resume its judgment today on the liability of big tech companies for third-party content published on social media, under the Internet Civil Framework. Also today, the National Energy Policy Council (CNPE) is scheduled to meet and approve an increase in the ethanol blend in gasoline from 27% to 30%, and in biodiesel from 14% to 15%.
