The President of the Lower House, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), said that this week he will prioritize the vote on the trade agreement between Mercosur and the European Union. The text will be voted on by the Brazilian Representation in the Mercosur Parliament. Negotiations also continue over the vacancy at the Federal Audit Court (TCU) to replace Justice Aroldo Cedraz, who leaves the post on Thursday. The government supports the appointment of Odair Cunha (PT-MG). In the Senate, the Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (CPI) on Organized Crime may vote on requests to invite Supreme Federal Court (STF) Justices Dias Toffoli and Alexandre de Moraes to provide clarifications regarding the scandal involving Banco Master.
