The IMF approves pension reform, the Cabinet reports

On June 4th the Cabinet put on its web-site scan of a letter from the IMF (see below) which states that the IMF “can support the draft law in its current form”. I do not know what ‘current form’ the IMF is talking about but in any case it’s a good signal for our cooperation with the Fund. By the way, we see in media the Cabinet widely advertising pensions’ growth already this fall. Most likely it means that pension ‘modernization’ was in some way accepted. If the IMF indeed approved the pension reform concept, Volodymyr Groysman developed, I would expect draft law on pension reform to be submitted to the parliament over the upcoming days.
