Today, January 24, the National Negotiation Table meets for the first time in Brasília to discuss work in retail on holidays. The table was requested after, at the end of last year, the Ministry of Labor issued a decree revoking the permanent authorization to work in retail on holidays. The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad (PT), stated yesterday, January 23, that he will deliver the calculation for the review of the Income Tax (IR) exemption range by the end of January. The Federal Revenue Service published the consolidated collection data for 2023. This was also an opportunity to review the effectiveness of the collection agenda approved last year.
