The period for party affiliations, resignations and electoral registration ends on April 2. April 1 is the last day that proportional office holders (federal, state and district deputies) are allowed to switch parties without risking losing their mandate. Milton Ribeiro, the Minister of Education, will speak in the Senate on Thursday about the alleged irregularities in his ministry regarding the transfer of federal funds to municipal governments. On Wednesday, the STF will review ADPF nº 760, which calls for the resumption of the Action Plan for the Prevention and Control of Deforestation in the Amazon (PPCDAm) so that Brazil‘s climate goals are met. Another case, on Thursday, analyzes the constitutionality of Decree No. 10,046/19, which provides for governance in data-sharing within the federal public administration and institutes the Citizens Base Registry (CBC) and the Central Governance Committee of Data (CCGD).
