At 9 a.m., the Constitution and Justice Committee of the Senate should vote on the Court-ordered payments (Precatórios) PEC. Changes to the text can still take place through amendments. Rodrigo Pacheco said that if the CCJ concludes voting on the PEC today, the vote in the plenary may take place on Thursday. After being put to a vote in the CCJ, André Mendonça’s appointment will have to be put to a vote in the plenary. In order to be confirmed, he must have the support of at least 41 senators. Several federal deputies are waiting for the President's move to the PL, and therefore, a number of PSL members are expected to move to the PL.
