The party’s president, Antonio Rueda, was accused of being the hidden owner of executive jets used to transport members of organized crime. Next week promises to be busy. The rapporteur of the Amnesty Bill, Congressman Paulinho da Força (Solidariedade), will begin negotiations to build consensus around the matter. Finally, President Lula’s upcoming trip to the United States is worth noting. Lula will hold a series of meetings in addition to attending the opening of the UN General Assembly.
