The conciliation meeting between the Executive and Legislative branches, mediated by Supreme Federal Court (STF) Justice Alexandre de Moraes, ended without agreement. Yesterday, the Lower House concluded the vote on the Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC) regarding court-ordered government payments (precatórios). The proposal now returns to the Senate. Today, the Special Committee of the Lower House reviewing Bill No. 1,087/25, which reforms the income tax, may vote on the report by Deputy Arthur Lira (PP–AL). The version presented last week retained nearly the same language proposed by the government.
