The Second Panel of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) upheld yesterday (June 16) the detention of Felipe Cançado Vorcaro and Henrique Moura Vorcaro, respectively the cousin and father of Banco Master owner Daniel Vorcaro. The final vote was 3–1. In the STF’s First Panel, former Federal Congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) was unanimously convicted of coercion in the course of judicial proceedings. Justices Alexandre de Moraes, Cristiano Zanin, Cármen Lúcia, and Flávio Dino all voted for conviction. The government withdrew the urgency status of the bill addressing working-hour reductions (PL 1838/26), which had been blocking the voting agenda in the Lower House.
