The rapporteur of the proposal to eliminate the 6x1 work schedule (PEC 221/19), Congressman Paulo Azi (União-BA), presented a favorable opinion on the admissibility of the measure before the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJC) of the House. As a request for further review was filed, the vote has been postponed to next week. Supreme Federal Court Justice Gilmar Mendes has requested that the Office of the Prosecutor General (PGR) investigate Senator Alessandro Vieira (MDB-SE) for possible abuse of authority. According to the justice, Vieira may have committed such offenses by proposing the indictment of STF justices in the final report of the Organized Crime CPI. Justice Alexandre de Moraes has also ordered the Federal Police to open an investigation into whether Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) committed defamation against President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).
