The statement between the third way parties was signed by the presidents of União Brasil, MDB, PSDB and Cidadania. The União Brasil, which still does not have a pre-candidate, should launch a candidacy on April 14. The candidate who will represent the group will be determined on May 18. Today, a debate is scheduled at the Federal Audit Court (TCU) on the privatization of Eletrobras. Minister Aroldo Cedraz denied a request for participation by the Eletrobras Employees' Association and the National Electricity Collective (CNE) yesterday. The TCU should complete the analysis of the process by the end of May. The list of appointees to the Petrobras Board of Directors includes former MME Secretary José Mauro Coelho for the presidency of the state-owned company and Counselor Marcio Weber for the presidency of the Board.
