This week will be slow in the Lower House due to the party window, which ends on Friday, April 5. The president of the House, Deputy Arthur Lira (PP-AL), decided to suspend all in-person activities in the House this week because of the party window. The president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), and the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, will meet this week to discuss the states’ federal debt. Currently, the states' federal debt is corrected according to the IPCA plus 4%. Another important bill that will be submitted to Congress by April 15 is the Budget Guidelines Law (LDO), with the parameters of the 2025 Budget, such as the fiscal target, inflation expectations, and GDP growth.
