Three Baring Vostok executives released into house arrest

On February 12 it was announced that 3 Baring Vostok executives have been let out of jail and allowed to live under house arrest. The three Russian men were partners in the private equity company and were held in prison awaiting trial in 2019. A Frenchman and an American who were their co-accused have been under house arrest since last year. The release to house arrest is likely to signal that the court is going to go easy on them.
