Brazil’s Supreme Federal Court (STF) has once again moved to the center of the political debate. Images emerged showing Justice Alexandre de Moraes and his wife, Viviane Barci, disembarking from a private jet belonging to a company linked to banker Daniel Vorcaro. Additional information may emerge between now and the first and second rounds of the election, potentially affecting the electoral process. A new Quaest poll released yesterday shows President Lula (PT) with 37% of voting intentions. He is now statistically tied with Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, who has 33%, while writer Augusto Cury (Avante) has 6%. Flávio Bolsonaro and Lula also have the highest rejection rates among voters. The senator has a slightly higher rejection rate, with 56% saying they would not vote for him under any circumstances, compared with 55% who say the same about the president.
