Turkey and Russia at daggers drawn

On February 27 a Syrian air strike killed 33 Turkish soldiers. The Turks are in Syria against the express wishes of the Syrians. The Syrians would presumably only have done this with the approval of the Russians who are their main allies.The Turks have moved thousands of more troops into Syria. Russia has sent two more warships to Syria to support their ally. Turkey is a NATO country but in recent years has come close to Russia. This fallout between Turkey and Russia could be welcome by some parties in the West.
